WHY CODE?
Technology is everywhere
We teach Chemistry to students because they live in a world with chemical interactions. We teach Biology because they live in a world full of living things. We teach Physics because they live in a physical world. We should teach Coding because they live in the digital world.
Coding improves creativity
Coding is the basis for modern-day creativity. It empowers kids to not only consume digital media and technology, but to create it. Instead of simply playing a video game or using an app, they can imagine making their own video game, or envision what their own website, or app might look like—and they’ll have the outlet for expression.
Coding helps no matter what career you choose
Coding provides a competitive advantage when applying to colleges, internships, and jobs. It is a sought after skill and makes you instantly appear more desirable in the eyes of potential college admissions officers and employers.
PROJECT
BASED
LEARNING
Students learn by doing, creating, and building things. With ITK, Students build their own Portfolio by the end of each course which contains:
Shareable Link:
They build their very own Apps, Games, Animations, Stories, Mazes which they can either download on any smartphone or get a shareable link online.
Documented Process:
It also includes a detailed documentation of the process they followed to build them including wireframes and requirements.
COURSE
OUTPUTS
The projects, activities and exercises are designed specifically to improve both logical reasoning and design thinking skills.
Logical Reasoning:
Systematic problem solving is what they learn by applying Computational Thinking concepts in the code that they create.
Design Thinking:
User Interface and experience is a big part of creating functional code. We teach the child to keep the user in mind while designing smooth running Apps and Games.
